Membership

Friends memberships run from October 1 to September 30.

If you have not renewed your membership for the current fiscal year, we hope you will do so by selecting one of the options below and continue to support the Friends. Dues are $10 per household and cover the incidental costs of book sales, including office supplies, postage and printing for newsletters, advertising in the Chronicle, and paying young strong bodies to move books. The more dues we collect to cover these expenses, the more book sale income that can go to the library.

To become a Member or renew your Membership, please choose from the following options:

  • Online membership option for credit card payments, click HERE.

Your contributions to the Friends help make our library a valuable and vibrant community resource. Membership can be different things to different people. Many members pay their dues and perhaps donate books and/or buy books at the sales and can feel good about contributing in this way to support the library. Other members pay their dues and work setting up, cleaning up or working at the book sales. Those members enjoy the comradery and community spirit of the sales; and what could be more fun for a book lover than to sort through thousands of books while setting up a sale? Whatever your commitment to membership, we know that all our members are supportive of the library and we appreciate them all and thank them for their contributions.
